Bio
Brian Wiltgen is an associate professor of psychology and investigates the cellular and molecular mechanisms of memory formation in the hippocampus, amygdala and cortex. At the Wiltgen Lab, he uses pharmacological, electrophysiological, immunohistochemical, and optogenetic techniques to study the encoding and storage of memory in transgenic mice.
