Charan Ranganath is a professor of psychology and studies the neurocognitive structure of memory and executive control, with specific focus on the relationship between working memory and long-term memory. In his Dynamic Memory Lab at the Center for Neuroscience, Ranganath uses fMRI and ERP techniques to study the role of the prefrontal cortex and medial temporal lobes in memory.
