Bio
Georgia Zellou is an assistant professor of linguistics. Professor Zellou's research focus is in the areas of phonetics, speech perception, and laboratory phonology. She studies how variations in the pronunciation of speech sounds are processed and represented by the cognitive system. Her questions aim to address how sound patterns are abstracted, evolve and are used, functionally and socially, in language communication.
